About Red Lobster
The first Red Lobster opened in Lakeland, Florida in 1968 by Bill Darden, whose only passion in life was to make good and affordable seafood available to the people around him. Within two years of its inception, Red Lobster garnered the desired attention and rapidly multiplied from coast to coast. In 1983, the chain opened its first restaurant in Canada. Keeping responsibility towards the society in mind, Red Lobster started donating unused food to local food banks and homeless shelters from 2003. Since then, they have donated 20 million meals.
Succulent lobsters in different forms is their specialty. Then be it, wood-grilled or roasted with seafood stuffing or steamed. They also offer shrimp salads with different toppings, wood-grilled cheeseburgers, Tacos, sandwiches, and skewers. You also have the option to make your own meal. In their dinner menu, they primarily serve Lobster bakes, Alfredo, Fish and Chips, and steaks. Desserts are more of Chocolate chip cookies, cheesecakes, Lime pies, Brownies and other seasonal Dessert selections. They have a separate menu for children, which has grilled chicken, popcorn shrimps, broiled fish, chicken fingers etc. For people who want to go light on their stomach here, they have a menu choice called “Lighter Fare”- which has maple-glazed chicken, garlic-grilled shrimp etc.
