Lane Bryant is an American retail women’s clothing store chain focusing on plus-size women. It was founded in 1904 with some very innovative maternity designs by Lena Himmelstein Bryant Malsin. Lena was a young widow supporting herself and her son as a dressmaker. In 1904, she started her first storefront with very meagre resources. As of 2013, the chain operated out of 812 stores in 46 U.S. states. They also ship internationally to almost all the major countries.

The store features collections from designers such as Melissa Mccarthy, Isabel Toledo, 6th and Lane and Prabal Gurung. They also have a range of accessories to choose from -like shoes, handbags, sunglasses and jewelry. The store also sells swimwear and lingerie. Their lingerie is available under the brand Cacique.
