About Carson's

Started in 1854, Carson’s was intended to be where the Americans went to shop each weekend.  In keeping with the image, the merchandise and offering at the departmental stores were such as to attract the most customers.  The prices on offer was in keeping with the general image of affordability that the stores wanted to project to the customers.  Numerous acquisitions and mergers were undertaken over the years to diversify and also to provide a broader-based customer base.   Thus, it came to pass that the Carson’s are seen as a daily part of most Americans.  It came to be later listed on the NASDAQ and turned into a public limited company.

There would not be much that a common person uses that is not available at Carson’s.  From the very mundane floor mops to the offerings of the seasons like the Christmas tree; this is a one stop place in America for the most essential and also the not so essentials.  Most American families do consider this place to be the one-stop solution for everything you need at home. From apparels for men, women, and children, to beauty and fragrance, shoes, bags, bed and bath products, furniture from well-known brands – you name it, and Carson’s has it!
